Frederick B. Lundberg, 75, of Ladson, husband of Dorothea Lacroix Lundberg died Thursday morning in a North Charleston hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 3 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 o'clock until the time of service of Saturday. Mr. Lundberg was born on March 6, 1927 in Exeter, NH, the son of the late Frederick P. Lundberg and Marion Bertrand Lundberg. He was a graduate of Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. He served in the United States Army. He was a retired Nuclear Director with the Charleston Naval Shipyard, Shop 38, Nuclear Power. He was a member of Miles Road Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dorothea Lacroix Lundberg; daughters, Frances Lundberg Leavitt of Exeter, NH and Deborah Lundberg Holmes of Summerville; sons, Karle Frederick Lundberg of Ravenel, Adelbert Bertrand Lundberg of Summerville, Leslie Tate Lundberg of Ladson, and Michael Scott Lundberg of Ladson; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 1 brother, Edmund Lundberg of New Hampshire; 1 sister, Norma Tate of Manchester, Massachusetts.
